Chicago , IL November 25, 2009 − The Institute of Puerto Rican Arts and Culture (IPRAC) presents the first annual Puerto Rican Jazz Series. The Jazz Series kicks off with the first of two fund raising concerts, “Navi-Jazz”, which will be held at V-LIVE (2047 N. Milwaukee) on Dec. 10, 2009 at 7 p.m. Guests can expect an exciting evening filled with the sounds of the rhythmic fusion of Puerto Rican and African American musical expressions produced by the acclaimed William Cepeda and Erick Figueroa, directly from Puerto Rico, accompanied by Chicago’s very own Latin Inspiration and Afri-Caribe.
